This policy explains what happens to the details you give us through this website, and the choices you have. We have kept it as short and plain as we can.
Who runs this website
This website is run by HJO Dance Studio London Scoil Rince Ceim Oir (Scoil Rince Céim Óir), HJO Dance Studio, Harlequin Avenue, London TW8 9EW. You can email us at ceimoir@aol.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.
What we collect and why
When you send us a message. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your message. We use them to reply to you.
When you reserve a free class. As well as your name, email address and phone number, the form asks for the dancer's name and age, where they would like to dance, any dancing they have done already, and anything else you choose to tell us. We use them to find the right class and to arrange it with you. If the dancer is under 18, we ask a parent or guardian to fill in the form for them.
When you ask about a display. As well as your name, email address and phone number, the form asks for the date, the type of event, where it is, how long you would like the dancers for and anything else you choose to tell us. We use them to reply about the display.
Whatever you send through a form is stored on this website and emailed to us so that we can reply. We keep it until we delete it. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for anything other than replying to you and arranging what you asked about.
Who looks after the website
The website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design, who process this information on our behalf and deliver the website's emails. They do not use it for anything else.
Cookies
The website sets two small cookies that every visitor needs: a session cookie, which lets the site remember you from one page to the next, and a security cookie, which protects the forms from being misused. Neither is used to track you.
The website's own count of visitors is cookieless: it sets nothing in your browser.
If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first, and nothing from them is set until you accept. Your answer is remembered in your browser so that you are not asked on every page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us at ceimoir@aol.com and we will help.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows when it last changed.
