Celebrating our 2026 World Championship Globe winners

Scoil Rince Céim Óir is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our World Championship Globe winners for 2026. Behind every one of these results are years of classes, practice at home, early starts and long journeys, and every one of these dancers did the school proud on the world stage.

Our 2026 Globe winners

• Fiadh Fitzgerald, Double World Champion: Under 11 in 2025 and Under 12 in 2026
• Senior Ladies Céilí Team, World Championship Runners-Up 2026
• Over 15 Mixed 4 Hand Team, third at the World Championships 2026
• Emma Eaton, fifth at the World Championships 2026

On an Irish dance results sheet those places are written in Irish: 1ú, 2ú, 3ú and 5ú. You will see them that way on our home page too.

Two years running for Fiadh

Winning a world title once is something most dancers only dream of. Winning it again the following year, in a new age group and against a new field of dancers, takes talent, hard work and a lot of nerve. Congratulations, Fiadh, from everyone at Céim Óir.

One team, one heart

Our motto, "One Team, One Heart" (Foireann Amháin, Croí Amháin), shows most clearly in our céilí and figure dancing. In a céilí or a four hand, nobody wins alone: every dancer has to be in the right place, on the right beat, every time. A Senior Ladies Céilí Team finishing as World Championship Runners-Up, and an Over 15 Mixed 4 Hand Team taking third, is the result of a lot of dancers working as one.

Thank you

Results like these belong to a whole community. Thank you to Hilary and the teaching team for the hours in the studio, to the families for the driving, the costumes and the encouragement, and to every dancer in the school who cheered their friends on.

Every champion started somewhere

Every one of these dancers once walked into a first class. Whether your child wants to dance for fun, for fitness or to compete at the highest level, there is a place for them at Céim Óir, and the first class is completely free.
